Ed Spayd

Ed Spayd has helped more than 1000 Buyers and Sellers achieve home ownership or navigate the sale of their homes. Selling Real Estate since 2003, Ed specializes in Residential, Commercial, and Investment Real Estate. He is a National, Pennsylvania, and Berks Association of Realtors member. Ed also is a Certified Residential Specialist (C.R.S.), Accredited Buyer Representative (A.B.R.), and Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and has an Equator Certified Platinum Level with R.E.O. Certification. Ed is a graduate of Oley Valley High School (Class of 1981) and has a marketing degree from Penn State University (1985). After college, he worked as a route salesperson before leaving to grow as an employee of United Parcel Service. Yearning to own his own business and become an entrepreneur, he retired from U.P.S. and successfully opened and managed for 12 years Spayd's Sub Shop & Deli before selling the business and real estate to pursue his passion for real estate investing in 2001. He quickly learned that knowledge is power and is the greatest asset you can provide when representing someone's largest financial decision, the purchase or sale of their home. He's taken time throughout his career to become a student of the industry and has earned several nationally recognized designations, as well as attended numerous seminars, all allowing him to represent his clients to the highest level. From 2014-2016 Ed Spayd was the RE/MAX Platinum Award Winner; in 2017-2021 he was the RE/MAX Chairman's Club Award Winner; and in 2022 was the RE/MAX Titan Club Award Winner. Ed has also received the coveted RE/MAX Hall of Fame Award held by less than 2% of all RE/MAX Affiliates.
