After 36 years of teaching elementary music in public schools, Edie specializes in the quirky, sweet, imperfect potential of people, porches, and properties. Saintly patience and perseverance are part of the package.
Born with an incurable case of wanderlust, she has hopped the NY/PA border several times, as buyer, seller, and landlord, and she knows every step you’re going through. She and her husband considered retirement destinations ranging from Texas to Costa Rica, to Scotland, before inevitably being permanently drawn back to Northeast PA. Not big on the idea of sedentary, although that’s certainly an option for others, she has found an enjoyable commute to anywhere in the tri-state, deceptive convenience to amenities cloaked in the Delaware forest, and natural wonders- all within Nittany Lion territory.
The last addition to the Duncan household is an overly-happy black lab-advertised as a mastiff. At the time of pick-up, it was obvious that the rescue had brought the wrong dog, but what do you do once you hold a grateful puppy? During a rough 2020, joyful ZuZu made everyone realize something you believe to be an unlikely choice, might just be the perfect one.
The same with homes. You may bypass your grand finale, based on a printed description—unless you let Edie accompany.
