Edmond Yoo has been entrenched in real estate all his life, with both his parents' busy agents for 30 years and counting. Though he jokes he had his fair share of dinners alone because of their hectic schedule, he is also eternally grateful for the invaluable guidance, support, and input on their experiences over the years.
It is this that inspired Edmond to pursue the field himself in 2013. He is licensed both in New York and New Jersey, and specializes in sales and rentals, with condos, co-ops, mixed-use, and multifamily properties in his repertoire. Edmond has worked both with investors seeking attractive assets and individual clients looking for perfect homes all throughout Manhattan. He is highly intuitive to his buyer and sellers and handles himself with the utmost integrity and honesty.
For him, focusing on these fundamental components of the service business leads to not only great results but developing strong relationships with clients that last a lifetime. With a background in surgical research, and later in due diligence servicing private equity groups, no detail slips by Edmond.
The smallest one could become a ‘make or break’ aspect of a deal, he believes. His data-driven, systematic approach, meticulous research, and preparation have fueled his reputation as a leading, trusted source of knowledge for his real estate clientele.
Born in Queens and raised in Ridgewood, NJ, Edmond spent years living on Manhattan’s Upper West Side and currently resides nearby in the NJ suburbs. He earned a B.A. degree at Wesleyan University and did post-baccalaureate studies at Vanderbilt University. Married with a daughter and second child on the way does not leave much time for hobbies, but Edmond does enjoy coaching a youth lacrosse team whenever he can.
