A native of Cape Town in South Africa, Edward Buthelezi moved to Bloomington Indiana in 2017 and instantly fell in love with the town and the community. He lived in Philadelphia from when he arrived in the United States in 2015 to be with his wife who he met in South Africa during her IU study abroad program. They live in Philadelphia as she was completing her degree before making Bloomington their home in 2017. Property Management Prior to being a realtor, Edward attained a degree in Civil and Building Engineering, Carpentry, and Roadwork from the College of Cape Town. He later pursued Supply Chain Management from Ivy Tech Community College in Bloomington while working in retail. With a background in property management, having worked as a leasing consultant, Edward understands the dynamics that inspire people to invest in a good home and how personal and emotional each decision is. Armed with this knowledge, he puts his client's needs first and focuses on linking them with a safe, comfortable, and positive environment. His experience in retail and construction has equipped him with excellent customer service, communication, and marketing skills that enable him to bring value to every tenant and landlord in need of his services. Outside of real estate, Edward loves spending time with his wife and kids. He enjoys watching Formula 1 with his 2-year-old and reading Zulu books to his 1-year-old.
