About Edward

Having grown up in Aiken, SC, Edward has spent most of my life within this community. With 36 years of experience in the real estate business, he was a full time appraiser specializing in residential work for the majority of that time. Girardeau also plays music and entertains at events, particularly wedding receptions, and writes a column for a University of South Carolina publication called Spurs and Feathers. Ed is married (Renee) and has one son (Tripp). His father, Ted, is a retired real estate broker in Aiken with both mother and father life long residents. Girardeau's brother and sister are in the mortgage banking industry in Aiken and another brother is a residential contractor in Aiken. In 2017, Ed was elected to Aiken City Council and is currently serving his first four year term.
