Edward Grochowiak

Born and raised in the heart of Bucktown, Ed Grochowiak is the third generation of his family based out of Bucktown and Wicker Park. The Grochowiak family has been rooted in Chicago for more than a century. Clients have chosen to work with Ed because he is a local expert with valued insider perspective. Known for his charisma, knowledge, and energy, Grochowiak is a formidable force in the Chicago real estate market.

Ed is a Chicagoan in the truest sense of the word. He attended St. Josaphat School in Lincoln Park. He spent his high school days at Archbishop Quigley Preparatory Seminary in Chicago’s Gold Coast. Grochowiak graduated from the University of Dayton, where he focused his studies on entrepreneurship and contracts. Upon returning to Chicago, Ed pursued and completed a Master’s Degree from Northwestern University in Evanston.

Ed is the lead agent of Groho Group, which he co-founded with his sister, Megan Grochowiak. Joining their unique backgrounds and talents, Groho Group is one of the only real estate teams in Chicago comprised of siblings. Well-versed in client representation and relations, Ed is also known for his role as a distinguished sports agent at Go Empire Group, a Chicago-based sports agency he started at the age of twenty-two. Ed is known for being a savvy negotiator, determined to best represent his clients’ interests in all business endeavors. Grochowiak has negotiated and secured hundreds of contracts, totaling over $40 million dollars in business transactions.

Giving of one’s time in service to others is an important value cultivated by Ed’s parents. As a result, he is involved in several philanthropic organizations both locally in Chicago and nationally. Currently, he works on behalf of Lurie Children’s Hospital Junior Council, Catholic Charities Junior Board, the University of Dayton Alumni Board and is a member of the St. John Berchmans School Board in Logan Square. Known for his love of family, friends, and his dog Enda, Grochowiak is poised to be a top-producing realtor in Chicago for years to come.
