Elan was wonderful to work with, and we truly found our dream home with him. Elan was smart and thoughtful about everything he did with us — always pointing out important aspects of homes that we would never have thought about, and giving us a ton of professional insights as to what makes a home valuable, and what could make a home purchase risky. But what I think what really sets him apart is how much he truly cared that we found the right home for us. He didn’t want us to simply ‘buy quickly’ if it wasn’t the best fit — and as a result, we really found the best home for us in an ideal neighborhood. We are so grateful for Elan’s help... and he has continued to offer to be helpful even after closing. Would definitely recommend!!

Elan was a wonderful agent to work with, including his team of experts that all helped see me through the entire home buying process--from what I was interested in all the way through closing/signing & the weeks following to make sure everything was to my liking! I'm a first time homeowner and he has made the process much easier than I could have imagined. Fantastic service, very friendly, reliable & polite. I recommend him especially for first time homebuyers. He helped me purchase a home that was above my proposed budget, but was able to connect me with the perfect team to keep me mortgage in the price I wanted.

Elan and his team not only helped find our perfect dream home, but made the process easy and enjoyable. My husband and I started out not really knowing what we wanted, but had a few specific must-haves in our house search. Late in 2019 we set a goal to purchase our first home within 2020. We had a plan, we connected with Elan, and met first in March of 2020. You know what else happened in March 2020? The world shut down. Fast forward five months and we are happily settling in to our home.

Throughout the process Elan demonstrated:
- Resiliency
Elan pivoted quickly to virtual walk throughs and communication tools so we could still actively search for our next home during 'lockdown.'

- Patience
As first time homebuyers, and relentless researchers, we had endless questions for Elan, which he consistently answered with kindness and patience.

- Responsiveness
Elan was very quick to respond throughout the process to abovementioned endless questions and other points that came up throughout the process.

- Enthusiasm
Despite being a challenging time for everyone, Elan's enthusiasm kept us motivated in our search.

- Composure
Elan kept a calm head in a tricky situation that required settlement to be moved last-minute.

Beyond that, my husband and I both work in demanding fields and had recently welcomed a tiny new member to our family. Elan worked with us to chat and book viewings (when we could finally do so in person!) on our schedule so we could focus on work and being first time parents.

I just closed my second property with Elan. He is extremely knowledgeable about the Philadelphia real-estate market and has your best interest in mind. He's great at what he does too - one of the reasons why I won a bid on a sought-after property was because he knew about certain strategies that other real-estate agents are not as familiar with. I had the good fortune of meeting Elan while searching for a property to purchase. Elan was in close communication during the whole search, and finally was able to introduce me to sellers who had not yet placed their house on the market. The house was, and continues to be, perfect.

Elan has a great work ethic and is on top of everything. He's flexible, and responds to your developing thoughts about properties. He was never pushy, but always friendly. He also knows what he is doing, and was able to identify numerous problems / solutions with the guts of homes we looked at.

When my husband and I first started looking for a home together, we got in touch with Elan and could not have been more pleased with the experience. He very patiently showed us nearly forty houses over the course of our search, including several that hadn't even been listed yet that fit our tastes perfectly. He took care of every detail along the way, and now we're thrilled to be living in the perfect place to begin our lives together. I would definitely recommend working with Elan whether you're buying or selling, although he'll really be the one working for you.

"I recently had the pleasure of using Elan Elkaim from Coldwell Banker Preferred as both a seller’s and a buyer’s agent. In both parts of this transaction, Elan stood out to my husband and I as someone who we knew we could depend on.
As a seller’s agent, Elan worked with his associate, Noah Ostroff. From the beginning, both conducted themselves with professionalism, enthusiasm, and pride. In a down market, we were unsure if we would be able to get what we needed in order to make our move possible. From the start, Elan and his partner worked very hard to make sure our home was accessible on a number of multiple listings, as well as used social media to advertise our home. In what seemed like no time, we had three offers on the table, and Elan and his partner used their skills to negotiate fair offers on our behalf.
As a buyer’s agent, Elan showed himself to be nothing short of superb. He patiently went with us to look at many houses before we found “the one.” Though this house was initially way outside of our purchasing range, Elan again used his unbelievable negotiating skills to get us the house at a price we needed, which was far below both asking price and fair market value.
I would not hesitate to use Elan again in the future if the need ever presented itself. Kristen and I had been friends since 5th grade and were looking to rent an apartment in the city together. Having no intention to buy, we first looked at over 10 apartments. Then we were introduced to Elan who showed us that purchasing a home could actually be affordable. He found us a house that was under construction months before it hit the market. Best of all, the house came with 2-car parking, a rare find in the city. We were able to customize the house and move in a few months later. "I recently purchased my first home and Elan was my realtor. He was very helpful and eager to help me find just the property for me. He walked me through the entire process step by step, which was a big help! He was available at anytime to me if I had questions. He kept in contact with me throughout the process to assure that I was updated, answer any questions I may have had or just to see how I was doing. He was truly a pleasure and great at what he does!
