After graduating from Rice University, Eleni Agiz journeyed to Ethiopia to study and live in the birthplace of her parents. There she began a 10-year career in education. Upon returning home, Eleni continued to teach in schools in the Houston area, where her parents first settled after immigrating from Ethiopia.
