One of the greatest people we have met in Iowa, she definitely made our home buying process easy and smooth. Elke was always very helpful and knowledgeable throughout the 4 years we were in Iowa. As 1st time buyer, we were very nervous. However, Elke helped us through the whole process from beginning to end and was also there when we sold the house. BEST REAL ESTATE AGENT EVER. Literally SO glad that we ended up working with Elke to buy our first house. She made the home buying experience both fun and educational. She clearly wanted what was best for us, even if that meant we went to a million showings. That’s an exaggeration- it was probably closer to half a million 😉

Seriously though, I can’t say enough about how helpful she was from start to finish. She made the whole process so smooth that all we had to do was be excited about our future home. 1000% recommend!!!

Alittle over a year ago our family decided to take the next step and buy a house together . Little did I know how stressful this was . Without our realtor I don’t know how I would have done it . She was the best at keeping me calm through out the loan process. At times we had to go through a lot to get the loan and seemed like forever and just wasn’t going how I thought . Elke always got back me on questions I had and always had the right things to say to keep me calm . Finally things fell into place and here we our with my family and our new home . If you need the best realtor in the cedar valley make sure you get ahold of this one cause there is no one else that compares . Elke helped us sell our house in Cedar Falls in summer 2022, and she was great. When we started working with her, we had already moved out of state, and she helped us coordinate everything from afar: getting quotes and scheduling with professional cleaners, coordinating with the utilities company, and in general preparing our house for sale. Our house had an unresolved zoning question with the City, and I tried for 2 years to get answers but wasn't able to. Elke helped us find the right person at the City to talk to, got answers for us in writing, and then once the zoning status of our house was confirmed, she helped us talk to CFU and the post office to make sure everything is updated with them too.

I think of Elke as the dream coworker. She got things done, remembered the details that I told her, responded promptly to my emails and text messages, and always cheerfully answered my questions. She always gave us a straight answer, but she was also sensitive to our feelings and pretty tactful in her communication. If I asked her a question or explained my worries, she listened, summarized the issue to make sure she understood, and then came up with suggestions. Most importantly to me, she gave me status updates and confirmed with me when things were done. I have worked with 3 realtors in the last 2 years (our family had to move twice in a short time due to career reasons), and I found her skills to be a rare combination. All of the realtors that I interviewed and worked with in the past were also full-time, well-established agents in their areas, but it was only with Elke that I felt like I was working in the same team as my realtor, and that my realtor was pulling her weight and watching out for my interests. Thanks to her, I was able to worry less about selling my house from a distance and could focus on getting settled into my new life in a different state. I think she's quite possibly the best realtor in the Cedar Valley, and I will recommend her without hesitation to my friends and colleagues in the area.

**First Time Home Buyer Alert**

My experience with Elke representing me & my real estate transaction, was nothing short of delightful. Elke is incredibly informative & educational throughout the entire process, beginning to end. I truly felt like I never had to lift a finger! I will admit, I experienced all of the self inflicted stress under the sun that comes along with being a first time home buyer. Elke made an effort to thoroughly describe each step in the process, and forecasted what to expect in each upcoming checkpoint so I knew exactly what I had to look forward to. Whether the communication lines were with the title company, the lender, or the sellers, Elke was responsive day in & day out. She added her personal touch & personality when it came to pointing out the small details, despite the very big decision. I looked to her for guidance each time a signature was required, and she was incredibly willing to provide an even deeper description of the meaning behind each signature. Elke always led with her best foot forward with the best interest of my & my decisions at heart.
