About Ellen

A firm believer in the magic of a glass-bottled Coca-Cola and the healing power of a Varsity chili dog, Ellen is proud to be born and raised in Metro Atlanta. When she was eight years old, she asked Santa Claus for a paint deck; she's always been passionately curious about interiors.

Ellen chased her curiosity to Samford University in Birmingham, where she graduated with an interior design and an art degree. During her time as an interior designer, she allowed her mind to grow, taking every chance to travel and work alongside world-class designers. She worked on projects that were published in several national magazines, including Veranda, Sothern Living, and Southern Lady.

Through the years, Ellen watched as her family home became the only consistent place in their world. She attributes deep, loving memories to different rooms in the home. Whether it's a good sitting chair, a family home, or something altogether different, she wants those around her to be able to find their safe haven too. Nothing brings her quite as much joy as being able to aid in that process, so she has spent her professional career cultivating and challenging her strengths to that end.
