Ellen is a Real Estate addict and sure someday there'll be a code for this in the Psychiatric nomenclature! She loves what she does & these days you can find me practicing my craft at Compass in DC, MD, and Virginia. Even after spending years working in the New York City real estate market, Ellen must admit that the DMV is as challenging?and enervating a place to be a realtor as is the Big Apple.??

After graduating from New York University with a BA in Political Science and History and completing her graduate studies at Columbia University, Ellen pursued careers in the advertising industry and in medical administration. And then her lifelong fascination with real estate prevailed and Ellen started a real estate development company concentrating on single family properties in upscale markets. This experience, combined with her years as a sales agent focusing on all aspects of the market including new multi-unit developments in Manhattan, has provided Ellen with a depth of experience and understanding that form the basis of the way she has been practicing her profession for these last 14 years here in the DMV.

Knowing the nuances of both the market and Ellen’s clients' needs forms the?framework of all interactions with and for her clients, be they buyers, sellers, developers, or investors. Ellen views each client's needs in relation to their individual long and short term financial and lifestyle goals offering an integrated approach to each transaction.

As an admitted workaholic Ellen is available by cell from 7:00am-11:00pm, text and email 24/7. She prides herself on being a rapid responder so if you don't hear back from her quickly, she is probably out walking her latest rescue baby, a now 3-year-old Black Lab mix Evan, or rather Evan is probably walking Ellen!?

Ellen is?an avid supporter of Animal Rights Rescue Groups, HRC, equal rights for all and…the beach!

She is proud to have been chosen as an active member for the ninth year, of the?DCAR (District of Columbia Association of Realtors) Public Policy Committee, as well as a member for the 2nd year of DCRA and Affordable Housing subcommittees.
