Ellis got her early real estate experience in New York City selling both residential and commercial properties. During this period, he sold units in Trump International Tower, The Saratoga (condominium), helped develop and sell 43 units in The Level Club (co-op), sold numerous residential townhouses and small apartment buildings. He was also engaged by both Hard Rock Cafes and Planet Hollywood to help in their respective nationwide expansions, doing deals in Chicago, Washington DC, New York City, Miami and Boston.
