Prior to real estate, Elyse enjoyed a dynamic career as an executive in the book publishing industry, where she worked with demanding authors, managed budgets and vendors, and directed a large creative staff of editorial, design, and production specialists—making her an expert at working skillfully under deadline pressure and savvy at negotiating, multi-tasking, and interacting with a broad range of people—all key in real estate as well. “I really enjoy meeting new people, listening to their needs, establishing budget parameters, and searching for the perfect fit—and I will not rest until that happens. Elyse’s design experience comes in handy when representing buyers and sellers. “When preparing a property for sale I am happy to offer suggestions—moving some furniture to make a room look larger, adding fresh flowers, or painting a wall or putting some items in storage temporarily to remove clutter. Positive first impressions can make a significant difference in getting the best price for a seller, and sometimes even small changes can reap big rewards.” A real estate investor herself, Elyse also has a good eye for reconfiguring a space, which can help prospective buyers visualize the possibilities.
