Emily Bartolme

As a full-time real estate broker, Emily Bartolme relishes in advising her clients on buying and selling residential real estate in Portland and surrounding cities. Her unique method puts her clients in the driver’s seat, with Emily as the navigator. This team-oriented approach allows her clients to be in control of the decision-making while Emily provides valuable insights and strategic, creative negotiation tactics. She is a dedicated, passionate advocate for her clients, utilizing problem-solving skills while simultaneously balancing the nuances of critical negotiation. In terms of business volume, Emily prioritizes quality over quantity. She is committed to providing the highest level of service, including offering extra services that go above and beyond what is normal in our industry. This business model ensures that she will always have time to consult with her clients on their transactions or facilitate a spontaneous home tour. Emily communicates the real estate process, along with current market trends and data. She easily collaborates and manages 3rd parties including escrow and the lender to provide a smooth transaction. Managing all the details and intricacies in the process of buying or selling a home comes second nature to Emily. She navigates the transaction the way she would want if she were the client.

Emily attended Portland State University, the downtown location, acquiring a bachelor’s degree from the School of Business. For several years following her graduation, she worked in marketing and advertising at agencies both large and small until she took another leap of faith. In 2014, Emily started her real estate business and joined Windermere Realty Trust under the mentorship of her colleague, now friend and teammate, Reuben Schug.

Outside of real estate, you’ll find Emily outdoors with her husband and two young children enjoying all the natural beauty the Pacific Northwest has to offer. She explores her surroundings by hiking, stand-up paddleboarding, camping, and biking. During the wet months, she’ll be skiing, snowshoeing, reading, practicing yoga, playing music, organizing her home, or playing games with her family. Emily is part of a year-round volleyball league. She is always looking for opportunities to give back to her community. She is a regular Red Cross blood donor and volunteers for various organizations as much as possible. Community is an important aspect of our lives and Emily ensures that she is a positive, contributing citizen.
