Emily understands this well; having both bought and sold real estate herself, she knows that the experience of being a buyer or seller can often be filled with trepidation and questions, and charged with emotions. That’s why Emily believes that it is so essential to have a real estate professional in your corner who recognizes the sheer importance of this major life event and can provide support and guidance every step of the way.
A lifelong resident of Connecticut, Emily grew up in Rocky Hill. She and her husband bought their first home in South Windsor, where they lived for ten years before following their dream and purchasing a home with acreage in the woods of Hebron in 2018. She fell in love with Hebron and its surrounding towns, with their rural quaintness and tight-knit community feel.
Emily has a background in education, and taught high school English and middle school reading intervention before making her transition to the real estate industry. She has a B.A. in English and an M.A.T. in Secondary Education, both from Quinnipiac University, and completed additional graduate-level coursework at UConn in the NEAG School of Education. Emily’s background in the field of education offers her the ability to advocate for her clients, to take the time to get to know them and listen to their unique needs, to provide guidance and answer any and all questions that arise during the process, and to think “outside of the box.”
In her spare time, Emily is an avid reader and has recently dived back into the world of fiction writing. She also enjoys cooking, home improvement projects, checking out local restaurants, going for walks and runs through her beautiful neighborhood, and all things creative and artsy. She lives in Hebron with her husband and three kids, their two dogs, and their chickens.
