Since joining Coastline Capital Partners in 2003, Mr. Freedman has been responsible for all financial functions and investor reporting. In addition, Mr. Freedman has been responsible for the acquisition, syndication and operation of approximately $240 million of real estate assets.
In 2008, Mr. Freedman co-founded Coastline Real Estate Advisors, Inc. (“CREA”), a third-party property and construction management firm currently operating 2,200 multifamily units in California and Nevada. CREA’s clients include private high net worth investors, national and international institutional investors.
Mr. Freedman began his career in the Transaction Advisory Services Group at Arthur Andersen where he performed financial and operational due diligence in multiple industries, including manufacturing, retail, entertainment, internet and healthcare. A sample of the clients he worked with includes Vivendi/Universal, News Corporation, The Carlyle Group, Barclays Capital and Diesel.
Mr. Freedman is a member of the Los Angeles Jewish Federation’s Real Estate and Construction Division’s Young Leadership Development Institute. He is also very active with The Brentwood School where he is currently the President of the Alumni Association and a member of the Board of Trustees. He received his Bachelor’s in Business Administration with concentrations in marketing and finance from The Roberto C. Goizueta Business School at Emory University where he graduated with Highest Distinction. In 2003, he completed the Executive Program at the Anderson School of Business at UCLA. Mr. Freedman is a licensed real estate broker in California, Nevada and Colorado.
