About Eric

Natives of Hampton Roads, born in Portsmouth, Eric’s family moved around with the Navy during his childhood. Living internationally sparked a love for traveling and culture in Eric. Returning to Hampton Roads to attend both Old Dominion and Regent University, he has been back home now for over 20 years. Now that his wife, Rachel, is also a licensed agent, they are dedicated to exceeding expectations and providing superior service. The Eric and Rachel Overmyer Team’s mission embodies the values that encapsulate the core of the family- they help clients find a place they can truly call “home”. In their personal time, you will find Eric and Rachel on the beach with their two children, Hazel and Theodore, and of course their golden doodle, Penny. You may run into them at the historical sites in Colonial Williamsburg or find them at Busch Gardens. Eric also enjoys playing and teaching guitar in every spectrum of music- from worship to classical and rock.
