Eric Rubio

Growing up in the diverse northside of Chicago, Eric Rubio, real estate broker for @properties Christie’s International Real Estate, has always been familiar and a prominent member of his community. "I grew up with many friends who I explored many neighborhoods with," he says, "so I became very familiar with both the city and suburban living, which helped me become very familiar with the entire Chicago area."

It was this familiarity and expertise that helped Rubio launch his real estate career nearly four years ago. "My friend recommended it to me when I mentioned I was interested in a career change," he adds, "I signed up for a pre-licensing class and never looked back." A mental health behavioral professional for over 26 years, Rubio is an expert in being a great listener and managing emotions. "My success in that field has taught me the skills to adapt, relate and better understand how to better cater to the clients' personal, emotional and financial needs."

Employing a business style that's focused on the individual client and building a personal relationship, Rubio is successfully able to garner most of his clients from past relationships and referrals. He is also a member of the Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.

Outside of the office, Rubio works with multiple veterans and law enforcement organizations throughout the U.S. "I promote mental health and substance abuse awareness while also providing resources and outreach programs, which help bring people together to establish common goal", he says. Rubio is a proud father to his two daughters and a loving husband, with family as his #1 priority.
