Eric Smedley

New Jersey native Eric Smedley made Pennsylvania his new home in 2016 — and the place he would launch his real estate career five years later. Largely self-taught in this industry with a multi-faceted background and entrepreneurial side, Eric's knowledge, insights, and determination provide seamless experiences for his clients.

Before real estate, Eric had spent 12 years mastering his customer service skills as a restaurant manager and bartender before applying them to the equally demanding IT industry. From a temp employee to becoming the senior talent acquisition specialist in human resources, Eric moved up the ranks while adapting to challenges and shakeups during his dozen-plus years at the same organization. He effortlessly transitioned his bevy of IT responsibilities into real estate, including prospecting, cold calling, drafting and reviewing contracts, negotiations, marketing, and promotions — all helmed by his exceptional client care.Eric bought his first property after he moved to Forks Township, instinctively dissecting every contract detail and intuitively understanding the process. After he began recommending the region to friends and family as an ideal place to call home, a friend took his advice and purchased a property through an agent. When Eric realized he could have earned that commission instead, he responded by obtaining his license — and acquiring another in his home state of New Jersey to help clients achieve their buying and selling goals on both sides of their shared boundary.

Away from real estate, Eric enjoys spending time hiking, mountain biking, and driving his Jeep Wrangler with the top down. He's also an avid comic book collector and frequent attendee of Comic-Cons around the Tri-state area.
