When my wife and I decided to relocate out of Santa Cruz, we contacted Erick Fernandez to get his expertise and help in selling our home and to also assist us with finding a home in our new town. Erick didn’t hesitate to help us, and immediately started researching the real estate market in our new town. At the same time he got our home ready for sale. We expected this to be a long and difficult process but it was actually incredibly seamless, easy, and stress free.

In the end he got us over $200,000 over asking for our home in Santa Cruz and closed on a new home below our budget.

I highly recommend Erick. We were introduced when I submitted an online inquiry asking for a home tour. That was on a Tuesday morning. That afternoon I toured the house and was told offers were due the next day. We worked together to submit the paperwork by 3p, and by 6.30p I heard the sellers choose my offer. As a buyer, I contacted Erick's office months prior to moving down to the area to look for a home. Throughout that time, he consistently checked in with us and tailored around our needs up until we were ready to make an offer.
Once we were finally ready to make the offer on a home, Erick worked until 10pm the same night to get it out of the door and got us (the buyers) protection with contingencies, which is rare in today's market. Not only that, but his in-depth knowledge of the nuances of the areas and the climates greatly influenced our opinions and shed light in to things we never considered. Erick is an expert in selling Santa Clara and Santa Cruz Counties. Erick has exceeded our expectations and he was wonderful to work with. We purchased our first home with the assistance of Erick and his team October 2020. Erick is an absolutely amazing Realtor to work with. He clearly is an expert in His field. Within days of our first consultation (which Erick allowed us to do virtually), Erick quickly arranged several showings for us based on the criteria we provided. We loved every home he showed us, and in fact, we ended up making an offer and closing on one of them! During the showings it was clear Erick knew exactly what to look for in a good home...things we would have never thought of! He gave us pointers as first time home owners that went above and beyond what you would expect from a typical realtor.

He worked with the seller of the home we purchased to review our offer first. He worked all Sunday night putting together the perfect offer package, and gave us pointers on how to craft the perfect letter to the seller.

After making our offer (less than 24 hours later), Erick called to check in on us to see how we were feeling. Just to check in! Totally above and beyond. Erick developed a rapport with the seller, and I think this was critical to our offer package.

The seller accepted our offer, and we were closed within 3 weeks! Erick arranged all of the inspections with top notch local inspectors, and even went as far as to walk the house with us to point out additional things we may have missed during the showing.

We felt absolutely comfortable with all of the advice Erick gave us every step of the way. His team is responsive and extremely friendly.

We highly recommend Erick! We would not be home owners right now if it wasn’t for his expertise! We look forward to working with him again when we move on from our starter home! Thank you Erick!!!

I was so grateful to have Erick Fernandez as my agent when I sold my home. During the time before I put my house up for sale he had great insights about how to prepare the house and what services I should have completed. He also had good insights about how to price it competitively but without underpricing. He knew positive aspects about the neighborhood that even I didn’t including information about the schools I had never considered. The photos really highlighted the beauty of my home without being unrealistic. The 3D walkthrough was clutch for selling a home during a pandemic. Overall, the home seemed to be marketed really well as the tour schedule was quite packed. Erick also set a timeline that moved the house quickly but not so quickly that buyers couldn’t do their own research and come to a well thought out decision on their offer. He also helped me to handle the few minor hiccups that arose in the most fair way possible. Ultimately, the outcome was much better than I could have ever expected and the timing was absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend Erick to anyone selling a home in the Santa Cruz/Scotts Valley area.

When I was looking at the houses, he took the time to ask me what my needs are. He examined the property like he’s buying it for his family! Being first time home buyers in the Bay Area made us very nervous, but Erick helped us immensely throughout this process. Erick guided us through the negotiation buying process and got us a great deal on the first house we put an offer on!
