was born and raised in Park County, a third generation small business owner. He previously owned The Sport in Livingston from 1976-1980. Ernie received his license in real estate in 1979, and has been active full time since 1980. He also owned Aspen Real Estate 1996-2009 until he joined with ERA Landmark Western Land in Livingston, Montana.
He has a lifetime of knowledge about Park County and Livingston. He also has experience as a former small business owner. Ernie knows the Park County real estate market as well as the small business climate in this area. He graduated Park High School 1971 as well as a graduate of University of Montana (GO GRIZ!) in 1976 with a BA in Economics and Sociology.
Ernie has served as the President of the Park County Board of REALTORS for approximately 20 years. He has also served on numerous boards including Counterpoint, a group home and training center for developmentally disabled adults, Alliance Development Corporation (Park County economic development board) and the Livingston Golf Club. He enjoys golfing and flyfishing, having floated Montana’s rivers his entire life. He is actively involved and supportive of Park High School athletics and extracurricular activities for the students. He has also volunteered as assistant golf coach for the high school and middle school golf programs.
