About Eugene

I served as a Banking Center Manager at Chase Bank for many years. For eight years he served as the Treasurer of the Board of Trustees at Sanders Temple Church of God in Christ (church), and the accountant for the church, where he helped to guide its financial growth. He now services as the Chief Financial Officer for his church as well as member of the Board of Trustees. He also is the Financial Secretary for a group of churches.

He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville in 1990 and his Master of Science in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2006.

He recently retired from the State of Indiana after 15 years as an Auditor-In-Charge and Exams and Investigator with the Indiana State Board of Accounts, where he performed financial and compliance audits of state and local governments as well as special investigations of fraud. He is currently a Certified Fraud Examiner and eligible to become a certified public accountant.

He enjoys the support of his wife, Yolanda West and family. He also enjoys playing the keyboard and organ in his spare time.
