Life happens and sometimes you just need someone to help you along when you're not sure where you're going, how you're going to get there or what you're going to do when you arrive. For me that someone turned out to be Tammy Deetman of EXIT Realty. I had responded to a Zillow listing and they paired me up with her. Good thing too because she is fantastic.

Long story short: My husband retired a year early, we sold our house in Minnesota and moved to Alabama. The whole process from that first meeting in January to moving down here in May and finally purchasing a house in August took 9 months. Tammy stuck by us the entire time and we are so grateful. That woman worked her tail off answering questions, helping us research, setting up appointments for when we were in town, showing us the various communities and houses. She calmed a lot of frazzled nerves and talked me off the ledge more than a few times.

Tammy gave 100% and then some. She is friendly, knowledgeable, professional and just an all around awesome person.

Thanks Tammy for helping us find just the right home. 🙂

We found ourselves in a predicament with a property originally purchased for a family member. We knew that becoming a landlord was definitely not what we wanted, selling the home was what we decided on.
We knew that after family termoil we didn't have the steam left to pull off doing a for sale by owner.
I Googled Athens Realtors and scrolled down through the list and came across the photo a Felicia and her family. She looked like a regular no fake pretence gal. Just a working Mom providing for her family.
I called her and briefly explained our situation and clarified that if she wanted the job it needed to cause us as less stress as possible.
She took it and ran with it. Within 3 days we had several offers and the decision was made. She made this a completely painless, stress free sale.
We can't say enough about this honest and professional woman. We strongly recommend that if in need of a realtor, you call her first. It worked for us.

I used Felicia to list and sell my house as well as my buyers agent for our current home. Felicia went above and beyond for my family. Any time of the day I messaged her or contacted her she immediately responded to me. Even if she could not answer my question right away she acknowledged me and let me know that she would be in touch with an answer for me. Felicia was also extremely patient and was eager to make the entire selling and buying process as easy for me as she possibly could. Not only did she create an amazing virtual tour of my house before she listed it, she had my house under contract in less than 24 hours after listing. She is very diligent and pays great attention to detail. I also loved how honest she was with me when selling and shopping for a new home. Her honest input meant a lot to me. It would be much easier for her to say what she thinks we want to hear in order to make a quick sale, but that's not her style. Her altruism is genuine. 10/10 recommend Felicia McGee as a real-estate agent!
