My husband and I used Fred to purchase a first time home (a short sale) which is a stressful transaction, even more so when dealing with a short sale. From the day we first worked with him to closing 5+ months later (and even after) he was incredible in terms of knowledge, diplomacy, business savvy, and providing details. We literally felt like we were his only clients, despite his representing many housing transactions. His sales and track record is a testimony of his work ethic and humble, pragmatic approach he takes throughout the process. There was also no question 'too dumb' for him to pleasantly answer which made us feel completely comfortable and confident, especially on closing day. If you are a young professional in Northern Virginia area who is new to the market around here, he is an excellent choice!

I would highly recommend Fred Ostovar. He came to us from several referrals and was just as good as everyone said. He will take you to see what you want to see, any number of homes, and then he will listen to all of your feedback and modify where he takes you to fit what you want. He works hard, is very knowledgable, and very kind. When it came time to sign paperwork, he explained everything we needed to know and was overall very reassuring.
