About Florence

Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Florence Ruffner has resided in Exeter since 1976. She was first licensed as a real estate agent in 1980 and became a broker in 1985. In 1987 she established Ruffner Real Estate, LLC. and in 1993, received a Broker attained Certified Residential Specialist designation. Florence is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Northern New England Real Estate Network (Multiple Listing Service), the Seacoast Board of Realtors and the CRS Council.

Florence has always been active in her community, having served as the chair and a member of the Exeter Hospital Snow Ball Children's Committee for 23 years, a past member of the Exeter Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors Small Business Coordinator for the Greater Seacoast United Way Fund Raising Campaign, and NH Seacoast Big Brothers/Big Sisters. Currently she is an Ambassador and a former Board member at the American Independence Museum, former member of the Seacoast School of Technology Advisory Council, acts as Advisor to the Building Trades Department, and served in the elective position of Swasey Park Trustee from 2017-2020. Florence is also a member of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) and is in her fifth year of organizing the Exeter Memorial Day Parade. This year Ruffner Real Estate LLC was nominated for the Small Business Award by the New Hampshire Business Committee for the Arts for supporting local arts and culture in the seacoast area!
