Franca DiCrescenzo

Franca is a seasoned real estate professional with over 25 years’ experience. Fueled by a passion of connecting people and places, she has been a principal of her own brokerage and real estate business for over 17 years. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Vermont, Franca joined her family’s construction and real estate business. There, she managed the company’s real estate and played a vital role in various construction and financing operations. In 1998, Franca joined Schenectady Economic Development Corporation as Director of Development, where she promoted partnerships between private and public entities and their impact on community revitalization and development. There she consulted with companies at the advent of the Schenectady resurgence and redevelopment. During that time, Franca also completed an Executive MBA from the State University of New York, and in 2000, she began work as a licensed salesperson with Prudential’s Commercial Division. Her career in real estate continued to develop and in May of 2003, she became a licensed broker in the State of New York and started her brokerage firm, Armida Rose. From the very beginning, Franca’s focus has been building long-term relationships. She is known for understanding her clients’ goals and ideas and transforming them into a vision she helps bring to reality. Franca’s commitment to the highest standard of customer service has become the foundation of the trust her clients instill in her. Her depth of understanding the various aspects of real estate became her biggest asset through her years of real estate development, small business development and an approach to the various solutions necessary to achieve a real estate objective. Her favorite ways to spend time are taking long walks in nature and promoting and researching topics surrounding health and wellness. Franca is also enthusiastic about working to support charitable causes in the Capital District since 2013, especially Community Hospice, for which she is raised funds in memory of her late mother.
