Frank A. Kissel, Jr. specializes in sales and leasing of residential & commercial real estate assets in South Florida. While his upbringing in the industry was focused on commercial real estate, since joining Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices EWM Realty (BHHS EWM Realty) in 2012, Mr. Kissel has used his market knowledge and BHHS EWM Realty’s platform to carryout residential real estate transactions for all his clients. Based on Mr. Kissel’s experience and ability on both sides of the industry, he delivers unique insight to his Buyers and Sellers to successfully carryout their real estate transactions. Since joining the company, Mr. Kissel has grown his business to become one of South Florida’s most consistent top individual producers in the real estate industry.
Mr. Kissel is a member of BHHS EWM Realty’s Chairman’s Club Diamond Level, and in 2021 was recognized as the #5 individual producer company wide. Active in the Miami real estate market for over 18 years, Mr. Kissel takes pride in earning his client’s trust through challenging work and loyalty using his industry knowledge and integrity. Mr. Kissel offers his client base a rare and versatile skillset which allows him to help a wide variety of transaction types throughout Miami, including the purchase and sale of residential waterfront homes in Miami Beach, condominiums in Brickell, luxury single-family homes in Coconut Grove, multi-family properties in Coral Gables, and commercial leases in Downtown Miami. Most recently, Mr. Kissel has overseen the sales of Althea Row & Biltmore Row; two luxury townhome projects in Coral Gables consisting of 15 pre-construction units with a combined sell-out value of $58M.
Prior to joining BHHS EWM Realty, Mr. Kissel was a Vice President at America’s Capital Partners (ACP), a private commercial real estate investment company in Miami. During his tenure at ACP, Mr. Kissel specialized in various roles including office building brokerage and leasing, financial analysis, investor relations and portfolio management. Mr. Kissel focused his ability on a broad spectrum of asset classes including office properties, limited-service hotels, office condominium conversions and self-storage development. Mr. Kissel developed close relationships with the South Florida brokerage community as well as with institutional and private investors.
Prior to joining ACP in Miami, Mr. Kissel worked for Morgan Stanley in New York City. He was the Associate Manager of Corporate Sales in the Financial Planning Department. Mr. Kissel collaborated with Financial Advisors and Human Resources professionals at Fortune 500 Companies to develop and implement financial planning and training programs for company executives.
Mr. Kissel and his wife, Lindsay, are New Jersey natives and live in Coconut Grove with their sons, Crosby & Chapin. Mr. Kissel graduated from Rollins College in Winter Park, FL with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. He is a licensed boat captain and enjoys fishing, SCUBA, tennis, and boat trips to the Bahamas.
