Frank Pipgras Commercial Real
About Frank
CAREER EXPERIENCE
With 28 years in the industry, Frank has extensive experience in both commercial brokerage and development/investment in residential and commercial real estate.
Brokerage
A resident in Sacramento since 1987, Frank has been a top producer in both office tenant representation and investment brokerage. He has completed over $900,000,000 in investment sales and leasing transactions, including completing a 380,000 square foot office tenant representation assignment for Health Net in 2002.
Frank holds the CCIM and SIOR professional designations and these national networks provide Frank’s clients the opportunity for nationwide representation.
In 1997, Frank was recognized by his peers and the Sacramento Association of Commercial Real Estate as Office Broker of the Year.
Development/Investment
In 1975, Frank started acquiring and “redeveloping” structurally sound but facially rundown apartments in San Francisco. Eventually, similar but larger apartments were acquired and renovated in Arlington, Texas. In 1989, Frank acquired and redeveloped a 100,000 square foot retail center in Yakima, Washington. Over the next three years, the center was renovated and eventually sold for substantial profit. Since 1999, Frank has been involved in developing senior housing with an initial focus on a site he owns in the City of Sonoma. Frank had acquired the site with agricultural zoning, annexed it to the City of Sonoma, and completed the entitlement process for 93 units of assisted living. Construction on the project began in April 2004, and it is scheduled to open in Spring 2005.
As of April 1, 2003, Frank Pipgras and Thomas A. Lewis formed a new company, Lewis?Pipgras, to focus on development opportunities in both residential and commercial real estate.
