In addition to his Bucktown neighborhood, Fred is active in Andersonville, Edgewater, Gold Coast, River North, Lakeview, Lincoln Square, Logan Square, the Loop including the South and West Loop, North Center, Uptown, West Town, and Wicker Park. He also works in other neighborhoods including adjacent suburbs and the North Shore.
Fred’s real estate career began in 1996 after a sales management and marketing career with well-known residential building material manufacturers. Chicago's dynamic and innovative @Properties has been his real estate home since 2007. Fred’s career sales exceed $150,000,000.
Nearly all of his business is by referral. Fred’s mission is to facilitate a successful purchase or sale in the most professional, smooth, and enjoyable way possible. Clients' interests are always his primary concern both during the transaction and well after everyone leaves the closing table. His philosophy has always been clients are for life, not a transaction. As a result, clients often engage in Fred’s services multiple times and refer their friends.
Moving can be stressful, but his preferred team of professionals and service providers helps make buying or selling go smoothly. Clients often tap into his team of attorneys, lenders, contractors, handymen, painters, landscapers, plumbers, and HVAC contractors even long after their transactions are complete. He knows like-minded Realtors across the US and Canada, so clients have access to stellar real estate services outside the Chicago area.
Northwest Ohio is where Fred grew up and he graduated from Miami University (Ohio) with a BS in Business Administration. Chicago has been home since 1987. When not selling real estate, his hobbies include extensive travel, the outdoors, sailing, music, and architecture.
