About Fred

Fred is a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a BSE degree and additional studies at the University of Georgia & Wharton School of Business. During his career he has held many high level management positions with consistent high achievement and success. For 34 years he worked for Entergy in Little Rock, retiring in 2000. He also taught in the Fort Smith School District. He had many experiences with real estate, which included co-owning a brokerage in Little Rock, he has had his broker's license for 49 years. Fred and his wife moved to Rogers, AR in 2000, where he continued his real estate career at Lindsey & Associates. That is where he began a long partnership and lifelong friend with Janice Smith and created the Johnson Smith Team. With over 900 sales transactions and over $263 in volume, they possess expertise in new/resale homes, relocations, property management/rentals, commercial, land and the ability to meet and exceed all new & existing clients’ needs.

He is currently part of the Rogers Rotary Club, serves on the Bentonville Utility Board and Legacy Village Board. Because of his knowledge and experience he has been a mentor to many. Fred and his wife Carolyn reside in Bentonville, they have 2 children, 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; Fred has never met a stranger!
