I am Gabriele DeHart, and I moved my life from Lake Constance, Germany to the City of St. Louis in 1986. I knew little of the language then, and I missed my favorite view of the lake from my home country. Culture shocked, I can remember thinking that mailboxes were trash cans and mufflers were food. But, I quickly adapted to my new home and learned that St. Louis had so many views and diverse cultures of its own. Soon the view of the lake was replaced by the grandeur of Forest Park, and skiing was replaced by biking and walks in the "Jewel of St. Louis."
Real Estate was a natural choice for me. My Grandfather was a well-known architect in Germany, and my father managed a construction company. I grew up around construction sites, building plans and blueprints. I was a natural, it was in my blood, so in 2000 I acquired my real estate license.
St. Louis is where I live, but I have also made it the center of my volunteer activities, a part of my life and career that I view with great pride. It is a stellar place to own a home, and it offers a myriad of exciting experiences and opportunities for those fortunate enough to live here. It would be my great pleasure to help you with your listing or buying needs, and I guarantee that whatever your view might be, I will make your move in St. Louis a memorable and successful experience.
