Late last summer we were fortunate to have an unexpected opportunity to buy a retiring coworker's home. It meant, however, we had to first sell our home rather quickly. We’re so glad we listed with Gary and Sue and–for many reasons–highly recommend their services to anyone who needs to sell their home.

We had our first meeting with Gary and Sue in early October, hoping to close both transactions by December 15. The timing was tight, and their amazingly rapid responsiveness was key to pulling this off. They responded to every call, text, and email promptly, professionally, and with warmth and charm. When the time came for paperwork and looming deadlines,they kept everything moving on–and usually ahead of–schedule. Clear and timely communication is an area that Gary and Sue really have down.

Beyond top notch communication, everything Gary and Sue brought to the table exceeded our expectations. From high quality marketing materials (including a gorgeous brochure with floor plan and an excellent 3D tour) to their recommendations (for a painter and an attorney), we can’t really imagine how any other team of real estate agents could have done a better job. Even though we were selling a relatively modest home, they treated our listing seriously and brought their very best to the table.

Lastly, their willingness to help with aspects of the purchase of our new home--despite not receiving a single penny on that deal--speaks volumes to their character and demonstrates their client focused approach is what everyone should want in a listing agent. They are now two professionals whom we trust completely and genuinely enjoyed working with. If we ever need to buy or sell real estate they will be the first people we call.

Our story had a happy ending: both transactions closed on December 10, five days early. Our family just spent our first Christmas in our new home, in very large part, thanks to the efforts of Gary Kelley and Sue Gordon. Hire them. Enjoy their banter. Take any advice they share with you. This review is long, but we need to let everyone know how terrific Gary and Sue are. Gary and Sue have been our stalwart partners in both the buying and selling of our new and old homes during this past year. What should have been a relatively routine process had twists and turns that would make for a great suspense movie. First of all, in purchasing our new home, we made the unfortunate choice of a mortgage company that was (to say the least) totally screwed up and took far longer to approve our mortgage than reasonable. Both Gary and Sue applied steady pressure on the company to come through with the mortgage while negotiating with the sellers to hang tight during the inexcusable delay. Once the mortgage was approved, our purchase of our new home went very smoothly.
Needless to say, we wanted them to sell our old home and again, they came through with dedication and persistence for which we are totally impressed and grateful. Having spent 35 years in our old home, we accumulated a lot of "stuff" that we had to deal with. Reality is that we seriously underestimated the amount of stuff. That was bad enough, but in the middle of everything, we were injured in a serious motor vehicle accident and could not physically cope with the move. Gary came to the rescue! He hired helpers, rented a truck and in two days Gary and Sue along with the helpers cleared out our old house. Honestly, I cannot imagine any other realtors doing this. Long story short, if you want outstanding service, advice and support, do not hesitate to contact Gary!

If I told you the story of what Gary, Sue, My husband, and I have been through in the last 2 years (related to our recently closed property) I’d would take up ALLLL the text space on the planet...the details of what we waded through together will remain one of the most interesting, taxing, and unreal experiences of my life...but what’s important??? Gary and Sue are a remarkable duo. They are not only our agent and partner, they have become like family. Selling our home was extremely difficult (to say the least) and they went above and beyond to literally hold our hands through until the very end. Thanks could never be enough. They lead each sale with professionalism, integrity, persistence, expertise, and a humble nature that is UNMATCHED. I have dealt with many realtors over the years and Gary is by far the best. He is prepared informed and does his his research. Gary was hands on and helped beyond what is the norm. He set up work to be done on property with a well executed plan and delivered. He offered straight forward and solid advice. The property was a modest selling price and the commission was on the low end. He handled the transaction as you would a milllion dollar property. I rarely write positive reviews but this was deserving.

They guided us through the whole process, gave us recommendations on contractors to use and made the entire process effortless.
