As the saying goes, 'if I look in the dictionary under 'Real Estate Agent extraordinaire', you will find Gayle's picture. All kidding aside. To us, there is only one person that comes in at number 1, and its Gayle. I have never sold a house before and the prospect was very intimidating.
I consider myself fortunate that I had known of Gayle and knew that she was a Real Estate agent, but for all of you who are not that fortunate, to have known her, I can’t tell you strongly enough, Gayle is the one and only Real Estate agent you will ever, ever need!!!!!
The first daunting question which overwhelmed me was and how do you narrow the field down from all the many Real Estate agents and companies that are out there and pick the right one? , What really cemented my decision to hire her is that I actually had inadvertently heard her taking about real estate to another. At that time I could hear the passion in her voice about representing her clients, when I had heard that I knew that, my search was over, she was that agent that we needed to choose.
When we made the decision to go with Gayle she took over a process that went from slow, with us, to overdrive, with her in the drivers seat. She moved at a very methodical, determined and precise pace. From the first day that we hired her, she went right to work, immediately she laid out a plan for us to get the best price, at the maximum profit. She then brought her dedicated and talented team of professional and experienced photographers to shoot the rooms of the house. She then created a brochure, featuring those pictures, along with a text describing the highlights of the house and property, inviting and enticing prospective buyers to view this property.
It was now time to show the house to perspective buyers. In my line of work I hear pitches form salesman all time and they will say anything to have me buy their product. In the same way, Gayle has heard all the stories from prospective buyers and she can see right through their 'tall tales' of why they should not pay the asking price. When Gayle told me that one of the first persons she saw was ‘working her before they entered the house' I knew I picked the right person for the right job. Gayle is only interested in the very best deal for her clients and she will accept nothing less.
Next are the contracts, and Gayle and her team are experts at preparing them. Having years of experience navigating this legal process, in order to write the best contracts which covers every single legal mater. Gayle will lead you though step by step, answering all your questions.
Another invaluable trait that you get with Gayle services is that she is able look 10 steps ahead of everyone at all different scenarios, that might affect the sale of the house, such as ‘what if this goes wrong’, then it could have a domino effect and the result could effect our final price, so is it worth our attention?' She is so knowledgeable, predicting and pointing out what the buyers agents questions will be, enabling the sellers to address those issues before they become an concern.
In the end our house sold in the month, which I never thought possible. Gayle set a price, which was fair market value, but because of her style and salesmanship she was able to start bidding war, in which we ended up with a much higher price than we started with.
When the house sold we finally came to the end of this journey and it was only through the efforts of Gayle and her expertise in the area of Real Estate. Her effervescent personality, attention to every single detail, coupled with her kind and gentle manor, professionalism along with her knowledge and experience are why, in our eyes, she is absolutely the best at her craft.
In conclusion, to all those reading this review I can say, unequivocally, without reservation or hesitation and in all confidence, that I whole heartedly recommend in the strongest possible terms, Gayle Stellas and her team of professionals at Baird and Warner for the purposes selling, or buying real estate or a house!!!!!!

We put it on the market before we traveled abroad for two months, and she kept us informed and up to date, ultimately obtaining a buyer.

Gayle is a pleasure to work with, and the results are obvious. We had a complicated situation, as my elderly parents required 24/7 care and moved in with me out of state. They urgently needed funds to pay for their medical and assisted living expenses and were motivated to sell their condo in Skokie. The whole process was done 100% remotely, via email phone calls and text. Gayle provided sound advice on pricing and did a tremendous job hiring the cleaning and furniture removal crews to make the place look its best. She provided timely updates and spot on suggestions. As a result, the condo was prepped, staged, and sold in a record time. Highly recommend Gayle for her experience, knowledge of the market and the human touch.

We can sum up our experience with Gayle Stellas in one word - WOW! We were out-of-town sellers needing to sell an inherited property with missing paperwork and no ability to be around for the sale. We came into town for just a few days and Gayle wowed us with her initial presentation. We left town two days later, leaving everything in her very capable hands. She took care of every detail (there were a lot!), got us multiple offers for far more than we thought the property was worth, and had us closed and paid in less than three weeks! We can’t speak highly enough of her professionalism, dedication, and market knowledge. In the scheme of things this certainly wasn’t a big dollar listing but she made us feel as if it was her most important one. We were looking to move to Chicago during the Covid-19 pandemic. Gayle was focused and determined to get us into the properties we wanted to see. She made it happen and we were able make an offer on a 3 bedroom condo before a lot of other potential buyers were able to see it. We worked on an appropriate offer and got it accepted very quickly. Gayle then was able to help get all the documentation we needed from the sellers side to make a 30 close happen, and she also had great recommendations on painters and floor refinishers which we utilized.
