Gena Grauman

I have been associated with the real estate profession since 1998. I learned the business from the ground up, beginning as the receptionist/call coordinator at a brokerage in Lakeport, CA. Within a year I had my real estate license. In 1999 I became involved at the local and state level with the California Association of Realtors, becoming a director for three years and president of our local association for one year.

I have my GRI designation, (Graduate of the Realtor's Institute) that involved 120 hours of classroom instruction.

In 2007, I obtained my broker's license. I am very proud of that accomplishment, even though I am no longer able to use it. I took many real estate courses and sat through a grueling test to obtain that license and that knowledge has helped me here.

I made some life changes and moved back to Texas. I had to start over and study for my Texas license. I have been licensed here many years now, and am enjoying working with buyers and sellers. It is thrilling when I can help someone in such an important time in their lives.

I enjoy gardening, cooking, reading, and enjoy performing with the local theater group. It is great fun to dress up and be someone else and make people laugh.
