Gene Sandlin

A native North Carolinian with a Midwestern upbringing, Gene was born in Raleigh, NC and raised outside Chicago, IL. Tired of Chicago winters, Gene moved back to his home state in 2009. He is a graduate of St. John's College - Santa Fe with a B.A. in Classics. Gene is also a professionally trained opera singer, attending the Chicago College of Performing Arts - Music Conservatory. He is an avid cyclist, tennis enthusiast, and writer; and enjoys floating or hiking down the many beautiful rivers, lakes, and trails of Western North Carolina!

Along with being one of the top producing agents at Beverly-Hanks, Gene comes from a family of North Carolina real estate brokers and has over 10 years of Real Estate, Service, and Sales experience under his belt. He is an outstanding listener with a talent for clear and concise communication. Gene also learned the value of hard work at an early age, spending summers on his grandparent's Piedmont-area farm.
