I wouldn’t rate George as a 5 star if he wasn’t, he was genuine, always got straight to the point, and worked tirelessly to find my wife and I a beautiful home and a very sweet deal to go along with it! If I had to buy again George would be my number one choice and honestly don’t think I would want to work with anyone else. Working with George was an incredible experience for us as first time home buyers. He walked us through the purchasing process with patience and honesty, even advising us multiple times when counter offers were beginning to outweigh the value of a home. He was attentive and answered all of our questions with prompt and detailed responses. When we were traveling and unable to view a property, he went to the viewing himself at shot us videos. In addition to being honest, patient and attentive, George also has connections with high quality lenders, home inspectors and contractors, all of whom go above and beyond to provide excellent service. We knew from the beginning that George’s primary objective was not just to get us into any property, but a quality home that fit our layout, location preferences and budget. Home buying can obviously be a stressful undertaking, but if you wish to be supported, heard and surrounded by quality people the whole way through, I can’t recommend enough getting into contact with George and his team. Passionate, knowledgeable and personable. Looking for our first home was intimidating but we were blessed to find George Bukes. From the moment we met him, we knew he was really passionate about his career and that he truly cares about his clients. George is a Hawaii native and you could tell that he carries his aloha spirit everywhere he goes. As first time home buyers, we had a bank of information from videos, friends and family, etc., but the information was a bit overwhelming. George helped us organize and place all the pieces together, and ultimately led us in the right direction. When it came time to write offers, he provided us with extensive comps in the area as well as his own assessment of the home's value. He really wanted us to get the home but gave us an honest cap for what we should bid. COMMUNICATION. I was just amazed at how quickly he responded to texts and how he provided daily updates on everything that was happening as well as his communication with the seller. We are first time home buyers in this crazy market and had no idea what to expect in the beginning of the process. We appreciated his honesty, integrity and responsiveness through the whole process, and his ability to understand our needs and wants and guide us along the way. He is very friendly and has a lot of knowledge of the market and neighborhoods. He gave us great advice on how to make our house more attractive and "sellable" without spending too much money. At the onset of our home buying journey, we had hoped to find a real estate agent who was knowledgeable of the local market, would be attentive to our needs and wants (which evolved over our time looking at properties), would be patient with us, and would be able to negotiate successfully on our behalf. Most important, we hoped find someone we felt comfortable with and could trust. George checked all these boxes.
