George McKnight

George is a lifelong resident of Long Island. Growing up, he was always involved with extra-curricular activities through school and church. He graduated from Central Islip High School and later attended Lock Haven State College in Pennsylvania. He worked for some time with a large retail store, Fortunoffs as an import coordinator and later moved into management of their Backyard Store in Westbury. He then made a career change and joined the New Your City Police Department where he enjoyed a long career in law enforcement. After his retirement for the NYPD, he persuaded his current career in Real Estate. Starting as an agent for a local company he quickly became a Top Producing agent and moved into management for a large multi office company. In 2003 he opened McKnight Realtors and has been serving the Long Island community with great pride and satisfaction, knowing he's helping people achieve the American Dream of home ownership. His current hobbies include spending time with his family, sports, and volunteering with various youth programs and organizations.
