Biography Of George W. Reid
REALTOR
I was born in Hertford, North Carolina. Hertford is a very small town, of still about 2500 residents. My hometown is located within an hour of the Outer Banks. Hertford is also a peninsula bordered by the Albemarle Sound and the Perquimans River. The physical setting was idyllic, such that it gave me early in life an appreciation for beautiful real estate. This setting has inspired me to share what nature had given me, a sense of beauty; and to share this with as many people as possible. So, sharing and service are the spirits that guides me each day. Among my first ventures in professional life, for example, was to earn a Ph.D. from Howard University and to take this degree into service as a university professor of history and an administrator, sharing for several decades, what I had learn in my classrooms with my students and others.
Later in life I turned my desire for service into someone who works hard to help people in general lead happier lives. Regardless of life’s roles in which I have found myself, I will always be searching and learning ways to help and this is what I will do for you as your realtor. I will work smart, long and hard for you. My promise to you is that I will prove to be the hardest working, most effective and dedicated realtor you will ever know.
