George Russo

George received his B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of New Haven in 1982. After working briefly at Sikorsky Aircraft, he trained to become a state certifies real estate appraiser. His appraisal company, GJR & Associates, a residential real estate appraisal firm, was established in 1994 and continues to serve client needs today. George renewed his real estate license in 2011, and is a member of the National Association of Realtors. He was recently appointed by the First Selectman to a second term on the Orange Board of Assessment Appeals. Art and architecture are also of great interest to George. He is a member of the New Haven Preservation Trust. George and his wife Alice raised their family in Orange and have been residents of the Orange community for over 30 years.
