About Gina

Gina is passionate about real estate and takes pride in “working with you today so you and your family can enjoy tomorrow.” This is a true reflection of Gina’s heart and why she started a career in real estate. She is extremely passionate about her clients, bringing joy to everyone she meets, and bringing people together in community and fellowship. This passion is only matched by her love of God and her beautiful family. When Gina is not loving her role as wife, mom and agent, you can find her staying current in politics, volunteering at her church and kid’s school or playing tennis! Her love of people and heart for community and family has made real estate Gina’s dream job. She absolutely loves what she does and prides herself in her honesty, integrity, and loyalty to her clients. In fact, they are more than clients to her. As she says, “they are family.”

Gina was born and raised in Southern California by two loving parents as the youngest child. She has been happily married for twenty years to Cory Christiansen and has two beautiful children, Gianna, and Dean. Gina went to private school and stayed active in high school as a dancer and aerobics instructor, eventually going on to earn her BS in accounting from Cal State University of Fullerton. During college she loved working in jobs that were service based and focused on high level customer service. She found her true passion in serving and helping others while working at Claim Jumper, Nordstrom, and Clinique.

After graduating, Gina was hired as a Financial Analyst at Paramount Pictures. While she loved the company and people she worked with, her desire to be with clients and in customer service again led her to join the inside sales team at Paramount. Her focus was home entertainment and she sold DVDS and VHS cassettes to Bubba Gump Restaurants and Coppola Wineries. It wasn’t long after her transition that she was promoted to Manager of Special Markets and Internet Development. In this role she helped launched the websites for the DVD release of mega movies such as The Godfather and Greece. Gina loved her job and took great pride in it; however, with the birth of her first child, Gianna, Gina wanted to be at home.

In 2003 Gina launched an event planning and custom invitations business from her home in Mission Viejo. She started showing an interest in real estate when she and her husband bought their first home. To solidify that real estate was Gina’s calling, her girlfriend who was an agent at the time, encouraged Gina to pursue real estate and believed in her and her potential for success. This gave Gina the extra push she needed to jump into real estate and never look back.

In 2006 Gina took the leap of faith and became an agent. Although the recession hit shortly after, this didn’t stop her from continuing to work hard and persevere through the ups and downs that came with it. From 2006 to 2008 Gina hung her license at a boutique brokerage- New Day Realty. As Gina’s business grew, she moved to Coldwell Banker in Newport Beach and enjoyed success from 2008 to 2013. Gina was surrounded by hard working, high producing agents and enjoyed continued growth in her business; however, as her kids grew and became more involved in extra-curricular activities, she wanted to be closer to home. This is when she discovered Coldwell Banker in Mission Viejo. She has been with the Mission Viejo office since. Like Gina, Coldwell Banker is customer focused, and she couldn’t imagine being a part of a more passionate customer-focused team of people.

Gina has been a top producer in her office and has received multiple awards including the International Diamond Society award and International Sterling Society award. She is honored and humbled to be a top ten agent at Coldwell Banker, Mission Viejo, and looks forward to continued success as she defines it. That is, to continue to watch her business grow while maintaining her personability with each client.
