About Gina

Gina has 17 years of experience in the mortgage banking industry which is a valuable asset she brings to the table. She is more than happy to work with your lender to help secure financing for your home purchase. In addition to her banking experience, she has served in many volunteer capacities with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Having a daughter who was diagnosed at age 6 (21 years ago) with Type 1 diabetes prompted her to advocate for funding to provide research and better management of the disease. She has served as the Illinois State Leader for the JDRF and found that she is very good at negotiating on behalf of others, whether it be for better care in their public schools, or NIH funding for research. She has testified at both state and federal levels to increase awareness and she never passes up an opportunity to provide programs for civic groups such as Rotary or Lions Clubs. This background led to her serving 3 terms on the Capital Area Association of Realtors Government Affairs Committee. She also served on the Petersburg City Council as Ward 3 Alderman and volunteered to assist with civic activities whenever possible. She loves helping others and have found that the qualities she has fostered while in banking and as a diabetes advocate have carried over into her new real estate career, trust, advocate, nurturing, articulate, kindness and caring. She is currently serving her second term on the forms committee for the Capital Area Association of Realtors. Which allows her to remain current on all transactions as well as proposed input for needed updates and changes. She looks forward to hearing from you.
