Brunswick County REALTOR® Ginger Harper has been making dreams come true for home buyers and sellers in Southport, Oak Island, and Boiling Spring Lakes since 1983.
Born and raised in the small North Carolina town of Tar Heel, her knowledge of the area and her enthusiasm for the Southport lifestyle are second to none. The same can be said for her knowledge of the local real estate market. She knows all the neighborhoods, stays on top of what’s for sale, and monitors the market as prices change in different areas.
Ginger holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and was an elementary school teacher at the beginning of her working life. Deciding she wanted to work with adults, she stopped teaching and worked as a membership coordinator for a Senator for a time before choosing real estate as her life-long career.
She continues her education today by attending seminars and earning REALTOR® designations. She is now an ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative), CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), and an SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist).
The SRES designation is especially important to her because she enjoys working with seniors, helping them sell and re-purchase when they decide to move up or down-size, and helping newcomers choose the perfect retirement or vacation home.
Ginger takes personal pride and enjoyment in finding the right buyers for her listings, and for getting it done quickly. She takes the time to become acquainted with her clients and cares deeply about helping them make their real estate dreams come true.
Her clients have come to rely on her to be with them; helping, advising, and paving the way to a smooth transaction from the time they decide to purchase or sell until the closing and beyond. She is always either available or has a backup, so clients are never left in the dark. It is no surprise that many of her clients turn into valued friends.
In her spare time, she volunteers at Dosher Hospital, sings with Sea Notes, a local choral group, and sings in the choir at Trinity Methodist Church. She and her husband love to travel worldwide, meeting people and seeing how others live and work. Pet lovers, they share their home with a Tuxedo Cat named “Black and White Cat Harper.”
