Gisela Carreira

I was born and rased in Portugal until my teenage years, but lived in New Jersey for the past 35+ years. As a teenager I had a dream of one day to live in America, one day my then boyfriend and husband now, suggested to emigrate to America, it was very exciting and very hard to tell my parents, as it was just as hard to leave home and friends, in search of the unknown. My husband Jorge and I became proud American citizens and years later we welcomed our son George and a few years later of a our daughter Kailyn.

I was taught from early age that in order to achive our goals we must work hard, be fair and honest, and I try everyday to do just that, these same values I teach my children. In 2005 I decided to do something different and got myself a real estate license, and eventually started working in real estate full time. Prior to work with Prudential Real Estate NJ Properties, which years later became Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices NJ Properties, I worked with Exit Realty Lucky in Essex county. When my family and I moved to Somerset county, the commute was too long for me as I was the parent in charge of dropping off and picking up our children from school.

I have gone through various trainnings with the company, and still do whenever I have the time and the opportunity, to help me stay focused on my business, and to improve my services. I specialize in residential listings and sales, for a number of years I worked with foreclosure properties by getting these ready to position them on the market, by taking care of the condition and pricing. I have moved to the Relocation market place helping transferees finding housing, and helping sellers with listing and selling their properties. The opportunity to help families find a new home or move to a new destination is a special experience and a privilege that I enjoy providing to my clients. The journey to find my calling in life as a real estate professional has been enjoyable and I feel I am fortunate to love what I do.
