I grew up in South Carolina on a forty acre farm and have a degree in English from Furman University, one of the top fifty colleges in the US. I was an Army wife for ten years and traveled the world. I got to be the mom of four wonderful children. After being single a long time, I am now very happily married to the love of my life, Gus Koernig, former evening news anchor in Billings, MT. We live in a modest home in West Mesa where I am slowly agriscaping the back yard. We enjoy cooking, home improvement projects, movies, photography, visiting our children, hiking, and occasional weekend getaways. Previously licensed in North Carolina and Oregon, but resident in the Valley since 2009. It didn't happen all at once, but I've come to love Arizona.
