I am writing this review post 8 months since the sale of our home in Skokie. Looking back now one person stood out Grace Miya from Baird and Warner who handled the sale of our home. For those who are about to sell their house Grace Miya is the person to contact I believe her office is in Evanston, Illinois. She will do her absolute best to find the right buyer for the seller. I am happy to rate her performance with 5 stars.

Grace sold my house of 23 years, as well as my partner's house and then helped us to find the most wonderful place to call home for both of us.... and that wasn't easy since we had such a long combined wish list of needs and wants. She is so patient, kind and provided a lot of "hand-holding" through out our selling and buying journey. Grace has a huge resource list of service providers to recommend as well, which is so important when getting a house ready to sell. I can't recommend her enough. If you are looking for a professional who is also an extraordinary human being... look no further than Grace.

Grace is personable, smart, and as skilled as any realtor I've known. I was choosy, and it took some time to find what we wanted, yet Grace stayed very supportive and helpful the entire time.

Grace helped us find our "forever" home and sell our place in the city. She is very knowledgeable about the market and a strong negotiator. We cannot say enough great things about Grace as our realtor, and would not hesitate to work with Grace again or recommend her to friends and relatives.

Grace was an agent on both a sale and a purchase. She had practical insights on what to improve to get a place updated for today's buyers and a great list of contractors to help fix every issue. Communication was always rapid which i am beginning to realize is almost the most important quality during stressful transactions. Her preferred attorney got us to the finish line on both transactions calmly. Also she knows the neighborhoods very well and seems to enjoy the stories behind the houses.

I would highly recommend Grace Miya for any and all real estate services you need. She helped me with both finding an apartment to rent and represented me when I bought. Grace’s clients get access to her extensive knowledge of the market, relationships with service providers (home inspection, attorney, lenders) and an ally that guides you through the process while removing all the stress. As a first time buyer, I was a high maintenance client with no experience and lots of questions. Grace was available 24/7 to address any questions and concerns I needed.

More important than her obvious competence in Chicago real estate and her hard-working nature is how she genuinely cares about the outcome for her clients. More than once she gave advice that was contrary to her own best interests so you know you could trust her opinion. She actually recommended I wait on buying a place entirely, so you really feel like a partner and not just a potential commission check. The fact Grace is trustworthy, hard-working and skilled in the market is why I would use her again in the future.

We can't say enough about how great Grace was to work with throughout our home buying and selling process. She was thoughtful, savy, reliable, genuine and always available to offer us advice and answer any of our questions. We felt like she truly listened to us and what we wanted in a new home for our family.
