Alex was amazing, he was incredibly receptive to feedback about the apartments he showed us and he found an amazing home in Carnegie Hill. He is very responsive and overall such a nice guy and we’ll miss hanging out with him (he’s also a great tour guide—we had some fantastic cinnamon rolls under his guidance!) I was also very impressed at how efficient he was in scheduling tours and his attention to detail and ability to sift through the masses of listings— every apartment he showed us met all of our specifications, and he was able to adapt to new requests very quickly. My roommate decided he didn’t want to live in a walkup and I was convinced that would send us way over budget, but Alex made it happen!! I would not hesitate to suggest Alex to friends and family looking in the area, and I would definitely use him again for future searches.

Grant and his team were quintessential in our home buying journey. Not only is his team great, but all of the people he brings along with him are professional, kind, and have your best interest as their priority. This includes the inspector, our lawyer, etc.

From day 1, he was incredibly responsive and he was willing to spend the time chatting with us about small details as new homebuyers. He is also knowledgeable of financing and helped us lock in a highly competitive rate.

Patrick and Sahar helped us rent out our studio apartment during the holiday season. We were impressed with how diligently and hard they worked, even through the Thanksgiving break. We were also thrilled with how they completed the complicated coop application process in just a few days. From the moment I met Sahar Aubon, I felt we had hit the jackpot! Poised, extremely quick to act and so professional. We were thrown a curve ball, twice, during the the sale process of our NYC Coop. Sahar marketed it perfectly, had 3 offers within 48 hours and we thought "how easy"! We then discovered that the permits had never been closed out, so Sahar's work was doubled. Then the Board refused our buyer, for no reason, and Sahar did not back down and was able to negotiate a "yes" from the board if the buyer agreed to pay cash. Sahar not only masters her trade, but she puts her heart and soul in everything she does. Simply stellar!

Buying anything during The Great Pandemic of 2020/2021 was a challenging process, let alone a home for a pair of first-time homebuyers. We had previously scoped out locations and knew the condo building that we were interested in, but needed help in deciding which unit(s) to make offers for. We reached out to Grant to help us with this, and he was able to show us the different listings and help make a offers for the units we settled on. Grant was super helpful throughout the entire process, from offer to contract to closing, and everything in between.

Our process took a little longer than most, but Grant was patient and helped us with anything we needed. He was respectful, professional, punctual, and we were so lucky our first home-buying experience was with him. I was a first-time buyer, and I felt very lucky that it was Grant and his team who guided me through the entire condo-buying process. Grant and his team are experienced, knowledgeable, and resourceful. From the very beginning, they have been considerate of my concerns as a first-time buyer and responsive to the questions I had. They then sent me detailed documents that helped me estimate how much I could afford to buy and how much I could loan. While we looked at the properties together, the team was very transparent and thorough about the pros and cons of each unit, which was important because, in hindsight, I don't think I would have considered some of the important factors they mentioned. It was also very helpful that they provided recommendations for the mortgage bank, the inspector, and the attorney, all of whom were professional, efficient, and pleasant to work with. I recently found and moved into a new apartment with the help of Grant Braswell and Lauren Feldesman. The process was wonderful from start to finish. Before meeting Lauren, I’d looked at around 10-15 other places on my own and through other brokers, but she was BY FAR the most personable, honest, and helpful broker I worked with. I ended up applying for the first unit she showed me — it was perfect! Grant then lent his expertise in helping me complete a fairly demanding board package, and was highly responsive and on top of things throughout. My timeframe between giving notice on my old place and being approved for the new apt was tight, but Grant went above and beyond to calm my nerves and reassure me while avoiding any of the grandiose false promises that other brokers are often tempted to make — the end result was that I completely trusted him, and with good reason. Grant was honest, professional, and did everything in his power to get a good deal for all involved. I’ve tried to avoid brokers in the past, but Grant & team changed that for me. I’d fully recommend them to anyone and would happily use them again, though hopefully not anytime soon as I literally never want to leave this perfect apartment!

This was my first experience looking for homes, and in a place like NYC, with so many oddities like tax deduction limits, flip taxes, etc, I was understandably nervous.

Grant was awesome - he helped me find my coop, kept me on track for timing, and talked through some of these issues and trade-offs while traipsing around the city. His help was limitless, when my question was "can I fix X or do Y?" his answer was never just yes or no, it was "yes, and here's a number you can call, and here's what to ask for".

He and his team priced the loft perfectly and we sold it at ask! They even negotiated a favorable post possession lease allowing us to rent from the new owners until our new place was ready. Grant Braswell is the simply the best- I'd give 10 stars if I could! We were first-time home buyers plus we were relocating from out of state and had no idea about the housing market here, and Grant was great at explaining everything to us along the way and helping us to navigate the process. He had great advice in how to approach making offers, and has a great mathematical way of figuring out the possible range of what a place would be worth which was super helpful in figuring out what we wanted to offer.

His referrals for other people to work with throughout the process were great as well- attorneys, bankers, etc. He was always responsive and available to answer all of our questions and thorough in following up with the status of our offers (we made offers on four places before finally getting an accepted offer on the fifth - thank you, crazy market!)

I initially found him on Yelp after getting no response from other brokers that were referred to us from friends- I figured all these five star reviews couldn't lie- and so glad I did! Grant really knows his stuff and there's no one else I'd rather work with. I'll definitely be using him again in the future!
