Born in Los Angeles, California, Arakelian earned his B.A. from Indiana University with double majors in Psychology and Art History, and with a minor in Italian. Most recently, Arakelian’s sale of a historic Bristol waterfront mansion for $7,250,000, marked the highest sale in Bristol County since 2023 and the second highest sale in the history of Bristol County. As sales director for The Pointe Beach Houses in East Matunuck, he brokered all of the new beachfront development’s historic sales. The success Arakelian brought reached beyond sales, where he consulted on design, and was responsible for the development’s name, emblem, sign, marketing, and its clever use of pneumatic elevators.
Arakelian’s energy and success have been recognized nationally by CoStar, the leading provider of commercial real estate in the world, which named him a Power Broker in 2015, 2019, and 2021. This award recognizes distinguished professionals in commercial real estate brokerage by analyzing their achievements within their respective markets. In 2024, Arakelian received CoStar’s Impact Award for Sale of the Year in Rhode Island. The award, determined by peers and various experts for the positive impact the resulting development has on the community, recognized his sale of a five-story hotel next to T.F. Green International Airport that is being converted to 181 units of workforce-geared apartments at a time when demand for quality, reasonably priced housing is at a new high.
