Greg Ruehlen

I am the Co-Owner and Designated Broker of two EXIT Heart of Texas Realty franchises, Anthem Rentals (an independent commercial and residential property management company) , and a P&L Branch Owner/Manager of New American Funding. I have been living and working in Central Texas since my first active-duty assignment to Fort Hood (now Fort Cavazos) in 1996. I have enjoyed playing an active role in its ever-changing landscape since obtaining my real estate license in 2006. Over the years, I have specialized in representing custom home builders, investors, and first-time home buyers alike.
I hold a BS in Web Development and an AAS in Applied Technologies. Both degrees allow me to fully leverage today’s technologies to the advantage of our agents and our clients. I also hold multiple National Association of Realtors designations, including Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB), Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®), Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), Military Relocation Professional (MRP), and e-PRO®.
My wife, Cheryl, and I are originally from the Detroit metro area. We settled in the Fort Cavazos area in 1996 where I volunteered as a soccer coach for nearly 20 years and a board member for several non-profit organizations. I am a U.S. Army retired, combat veteran, with over 20 years of active service. In addition to owning EXIT Heart of Texas Realty, Anthem Rentals, and a New American Funding branch, I am also an Adjunct Professor in the Business and Paralegal department of Central Texas College. There, I currently teach Law of Agency, Real Estate Finance, and Real Estate Principles. On my days off, I enjoy spending time with family and friends.
