About Gregory
Earning the trust of his clients, exceeding their expectations, and meeting their unique goals is all in a day’s work for veteran real estate agent Greg Jackson.
An avid big-game fly fisherman traveling the world for sailfish and marlin (catch and release, of course), Greg brings the same discipline and passion required of his sport to real estate. Both demand intrinsic knowledge, thorough research, strategic planning, and teamwork, plus all the skills and a wealth of experience he has garnered over almost two decades in the business.
He charts a course of action that provides his clients with the direction they need to make one of the most significant financial decisions of their lives.
Recognized for his discipline and drive, Greg is also known and respected for his calm demeanor, as well as his engaging, approachable, and personable character, and calls "Dad" his "#1 title.” Working with Greg means being represented by a dependable, honest, and trustworthy professional who is proud of his reputation to be duty-bound to place his clients’ interests above his own. An expert negotiator on both sides of the table, Greg advocates the best prices and terms for his clients with a straightforward and sincere approach earning him the highest respect of his peers.
Given his record of success representing both buyers and sellers, plus the global resources of the Compass Real Estate community that combines a network of top talent with best-in-class technology, Greg has become an expert at taking over expired or canceled listings to help clients capitalize on homes that other agents have been unable to sell.
Residing in the Bay Area since 1984, Greg earned a degree in Finance and Real Estate from San Jose State University and has made the Alamo and Danville communities his home since 1994. He arrived in the real estate industry after working in international sales, business development and project management supporting Fortune 500 companies in the USA, Mexico, and Asia.
Inspired by observing people doing charitable deeds for others, Greg says he is also "inspired by those who set their sights and goals to the highest levels, commit to, and work to accomplish their goals despite obstacles and setbacks that appear along the way."
