Gwen began her real estate career after retirement as a VP from a 33-year banking career. She worked at financial institutes around the world and country as she traveled with her military spouse.
In 1986, Gwen arrived in the DC metro area with her family. She has resided in the Silver Spring Area since 1988.
Gwen actively engages in the communities where she lives and works. She was a founding member of Army Family Team Building and an active First Sergeant's wife at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. While in Korea, she was the Girl Scout Troop Leader that took her troop on their annual campout. She served as an active member of Women's Lay Ministries at the churches she attended during her travels and when she returned home. Sher served on numerous occasions on her Condo Association Board in various positions including President. She served as an Election Judge in Montgomery County. She was appointed as a Commissioner for Montgomery County CCOC. She served as a Director on the GCAAR Board of Directors.
